Homeschooling Benefits For The Parent

Homeschooling BenefitsParents are very excited when their children are old enough to get started in the learning stage level one. They are just too excited to play dough alphabet and clay with their 3-4 aged kids, flashcards with colorful drawings, number blocks, dress up in costumes and plant trees in the backyard with kids and other activities.

Homeschool helps parents to spend time with their kids in the early stages of learning. But one thing they always forget because of too much excitement is the planning of the homeschool year for their kids. This is important to track their progress and assess their performance in the long run. A homeschool calendar is a good tool to keep you on track and on schedule. You can easily make your lesson plan coinciding with the schedule you mapped out.

One benefit of homeschooling your child is you can identify easily and mix in the calendar family schedules. The schedules are not followed strictly like an eight hour job. It depends on the activities and availability of each family member who may be assigned to do the teaching in certain subjects.

The homeschool year can be memorable depending on the activities you set for your kids. Learning time is also your bonding time with the kids, that's why you opted for a homeschool approach for your child in the first place. Another benefit in the schedule you are mapping out for the year is the flexibility of it that you can incorporate out of town activities or even educational trips in different places or even country. And you decide when is the best time.

Here are the other benefits you will enjoy while your child is homeschooled.

Homeschooling can alleviate the problem of peer pressure and bullying because your child is safe but at the same time learning at his own pace and learning capability.

Homeschooling is not only for those kids who were labeled with "learning difficulties". Some children just need a different approach best suited for them.

As others would have said otherwise, research shows that kids who are homeschooled have better social skills.

The best is: your child and you interacting. Your child gets your sole attention to himself.

You are the mother or the father, so who has the best way of educating your child, YOU! You know what is best and his learning styles. You are the best teacher and you can tailor fit your lesson according to his uniqueness.

If you think that the best place to learn the essentials is your home, then homeschooling is for you.

First year homeschooling,benefits of CRS?
Does anyone school through a CRS? We are going through a CRS as "private schooling" instead of being a homeschooler with that school, I'm considered a private teacher, who teaches at my home, did that make sense? lol Anyway, does anyone do this route, or has, and had previously done another form of registering? Did you find there were benefits/disadvantages to this route, versus signing with your LEA?

Homeschooling and social repercussions?
Forgive the numerous questions today (research for a Sociology paper). Some parents feel that homeschooling benefits their children by not exposing them to the distractions and potential troubles of public educational institutions. Others feel that homeschooling results in children being ill-prepared to handle the many hurdles they will face in society. What is your take on homeschooling children? Does it limit opportunities for kids to be active in their age group? Is the descision to homeschool children more based on paranoia on part of the parents, rather than what's best for the child? Tracy, Point taken, but never in my question do I STATE that parents are paraniod. I ASKED if people felt that way, but never did I make that judgement myself, nor did I say I agree with that viewpoint. I was merely trying to start a dialogue. I do not stereotype.

I NEED HELP ON MY ESSAY (REVISING)?
I'm not a good writer,, please can anyone revise my essay and tell me which part i have to fix? final draft is due on moday.. THANK YOU Homeschooling is beneficial than public or private school? John Holt, an educator and author, once said, ?Any child who can spend an hour or two a day, or more if he wants, with adults that he likes, who are interested in the world and like to talk about it, will on most days learn far more from their talk than he would learn in a week of school.? The education of public and private schools has been on the down slope for years; however, due to the increased amounts of drugs, school shootings, and other incredulous incidents. More and more parents are making their choice to home school their child in safe and unperturbed setting. Even though, many people pronounce that public school is much superior and more suitable for children but many statistics and facts proves that home schooling is equally, if not more, beneficial. A child could get the same education as any other by attending a school with his or her peers, but how is that can be assured of the happiness of his or her own individuality demands when all of us are taught the same, and can?t get enough education on their own interests? One way to bring that is called home school. Home schooling, academically and effectively, enhances students? needs, fulfills their ambitions, and allows fast learning. Home schooling let constant learning what interest students unlike public or private school where teachers have to wait for another student to understand (Ott, Pamala L.). Students have to be interested on what they are learning so they know that learning is not a stupid and wasting time. There is no competition in home-schooling so students relax and they also can be lazy. With competition, students can improve their skills but rivalry also can sometimes be harm or efficient. In this case, it is harmful to students because studying is not something that forced by other people or to impress other people, it is for own goods. It will stress students and they will lose the taste of studying. Home-schooling is a clever choice for those who want relaxed, exciting study, and no worries about late homework; also, with atmosphere where they can concentrate on studying. Every six hours of institutional school is equal to two hours of home-school so that gives more involved in such as writing, researching, reading, and other not just academics (O?coonnor, Sandra Day). With these four hours of spare time, students can go to field trips to museum, historical places, and more places with their family, and that builds more strong relationship with family. Going to places like those can create excitements to students but at the same time they gain knowledge about those places. One home-schooler, Lisa, proclaims, ?I do love the fact that instead of waking up at 5:30 every morning I get to wake up at 8:30? (Saulny, Susan). ?Time is gold? That?s what my grandma always tells me. Time is really gold; time is what students need the most. Home-school saves tremendous time in students? life. But wasting time on public school, it is worthless, but spending time on extra curriculums such as team sports or even sleeping more makes the time more valuable. Since there are extra times, students? parents have to watch over their children 24/7, and they have to limit their work time to spend on their kids. If parents chose to have home-schooling then they should be ready for it, and if not parents also can higher babysitter. When it comes to home-school, people define as non-sociable education. Actually, home-schooled students are more sociable and mannered than the students who go to public or private school. Nonetheless, being socialized is not a good time for anyone because a ?social life? everyday can be bad for children in schools for who gets ?picked on? or harassments (homeschooling benefits). Public or private schools are not always trustworthy; however, a student can get bullied but his or her doesn?t have encourage to say that they are bullied then the student will become one of them, the bullies, because that student has negative memories about peers. Home-school is where students don?t need to care about other stuff besides academics. Many people then ask what else home-schoolers do? They can go to church and sports activities and interact with others (O?Connor, Sandra Day). Yes, there are many activities that people gather and interacts each other. But socializing can help students to learn more about our culture and age group also having best friend can help you throughout tough world. Home-schoolers often don?t have a close best friend; however, home-schooler doesn?t see the same person everyday. But then, students can?t depend on friends for rest of their life, they have to keep reaching for the goals. Friends don?t necessarily needed to live life, maybe few is okay. In addition, students
